Zacchaeus was not the person people expected Jesus to visit. He had money, influence, and a public reputation that carried shame. Yet Jesus looked up, called him by name, and chose his house. That moment changed a man, a home, and the people watching.
Revelation 3:20 gives the same picture in one sentence: Jesus knocks, speaks, waits, and promises fellowship. He does not force the door open. He invites a real response.
The first step is not to perform. It is to open. Pray honestly, read one Bible passage, confess what is true, and take one Spirit-led step of love. That is the kind of beginning God can grow.
